Oscar de la Renta Spring Bridal 2013

Vera Wang wasn’t the only person to pick up some non-traditional bridal colors in their spring 2013 collection. This season Oscar de la Renta revealed delicate bridal dresses and designs perfect for your “something blue”! There even was a red dress in the collection–color is definitely in this season. We loved the Spanish inspiration behind the styling of certain looks with the dramatic veil headpieces. Would you rock a blue or red bridal dress?

It’s New York Bridal Fashion Week! All week long, we’ve been drooling over all the latest designs from some of our favorite designers. Today we’ll show you guys some of Vera Wang’s breathtaking designs from her 2013 Spring Bridal collection. As always, she is the trendsetter in breaking the mold when it comes to bridal fashion. Last year it was all about black, nude, tulle and lace. This year’s 2013 collection highlighted a bright and unusual color for brides–red! It’s a bold choice and definitely perfect for that memorable reveal down the aisle at your wedding.

We think you’ll love that she included different tones of red, ranging from muted to vibrant, and wine to coral. If red is too contemporary for you, consider letting your bridesmaids rock the color!

Cute Retro Valentine’s Day Ideas

Hosting a Valentine’s Day party for your friends or your kids? We have a cute retro Valentine’s Day theme based on checkered tablecloths used for picnics, also known as gingham. We are a glutton for Reem Acra designs! The Lebanese designer really knows how to dress women of all skin tones in her creations and transform them into glamorous goddesses. Her resort collection for 2012 is full of bright, tropical colors that are trendy for the season and effervescent materials. You can wear Reem Acra to a gala, wedding, or as a bridesmaid’s gown.
