Fashion Friday: Monique Lhuillier Fall 2012 Bridal

The talented Monique Lhuillier has done it again with her Fall 2012 bridal collection! The great juxtaposition of tulle against the chantilly lace and orchidea satin is executed perfectly. With the fall collection already released, the designs work for both spring and fall brides because most of her designs embody a light, effervescent essence that works for the vibe of spring weddings. One of the favorites is the high-low skirt of the organza and chantilly lace dresses! Monique Lhuillier designs are sold at boutiques like M Bride where they will be hosting a trunk show this Friday and Saturday, February 24-25, 2012.

Breaking Dawn/Twilight Inspiration Boards

With the release of “Breaking Dawn: Part 1″ in theatres, we felt inspired by the dark romance and classic tale of love that surpasses time. Even if you’re not a fan of vampires, the theme of falling in love with someone who will go to the ends of the earth to protect and love you, resonates with all. So, we created two inspiration boards based on “Twilight” and what we felt qualified as a possible scene from Bella and Edward’s wedding! Hope this inspires you.

{Couple, Apple, Floral, Necklace}

Love the idea of taking photos right before the sun sets! Also loving the idea of flowers and jewels hanging from centerpieces–effortless but gorgeous.

{Ceremony, Invite, Bouquet, Gown, Twilight Scene}

 Jenny Packham is a super talented designer and we love many of her creations. The idea of draping strings of flowers everywhere is so over the top and fabulous!

Elie Saab Fall 2011 Collection

Elie Saab, as you may know, is one of our FAVORITE couture designers. His designs are so magical and that perfect combination between whimsy and elegance.  The review of the collection on Style noted that his usual bead and sparkle embellishments were repetitive and old-fashioned, but as a wedding coordinator, we believe there can never be enough sparkle!

Enjoy this peek at the collection and visit Style to see the whole show.
