Handmade + fun = super cute! We love supporting the awesome do-it-yourself crafting website, etsy, and highlighting what unique creations people sell on there. After taking a quick moment to browse around (and refrain from impulse shopping!), we found memorable and unique handmade save-the-dates you can send out to guests that will guarantee they’ll remember your wedding day! The best part is they’re personally handcrafted and because they’re their own boss, you can be sure to get a great deal on them.

Interactive save-the-dates bring out the inner child in us by making us say “ooh! ahh!” Pull out invites.

Dark Fairytales–Halloween Inspiration Boards

Halloween is a little more than a month away and we wanted to give readers inspiration boards that make us think of Halloween without being obvious or tacky. You could say it’s more of an “editorial” take on a Halloween-inspired wedding theme! If you’ve watched shows like “My Fair Wedding with David Tutera,” you’ll notice he likes to pull key elements like the feel, and colors of a theme rather than using literal items to create the design of the wedding and receptions. Here, we focused on words like “spooky,” “haunted,” “dark fairytale,” and “dark beauty” to create these inspiration boards which are still very “Halloween” but with a grownup taste.

Cinderella, Alexander McQueen, Book, Candle

Headpiece, Pumpkins, Rings, Clutch, Terranium, Fireplace

Model, Favor bags, Estate, Necklace, Invite

Candles, Apothecary, Princess, Canopy, Tag

You can find inspiration anywhere, you just have to let your imagination run a little wild :)

Kim Kardashian Inspired Tiaras

kim-kardashian-wedding

Reality celebutante Kim Kardashian looked gorgeous at her wedding to Kris Humphries. After looking through photos, we noticed and loved that she incorporated some of her Armenian heritage into her ceremony look. By wearing her hair in a chic bun, it really accentuated her face and made her look more like a traditional Armenian bride.

We were inspired by her choice of tiara and think it would work well with non-Armenian brides as well! From hippie-chic to princess glam to refined elegance, the right tiara or headwrap can really bring your bridal look together. Here are some sparkly tiaras you can adorn to accentuate your face or hairdo.

Time To Party With Flying Colors!

It’s graduation season and there will be plenty of graduation parties around the neighborhood. We have some fabulous ideas to kick up your grad party a notch or two!

Love all the details in this classy board! Did you notice in the table setting the yellow grad caps on top of the candy pops?! Grad parties can be classy and fun without looking like your decor came from Party City. Table setting, Banner, Cupcakes

The wish flag banner is a super unique and personal touch. Guests can write their well wishes on each flag and voila! Your graduate now has a keepsake to remember this milestone. The table centerpiece made of books is another cute idea and is more cost-effective than having flower centerpieces. Wish Flag Banner, Book centerpiece, Favors

Little details like pennant flags and cake in the shape of a diploma scroll can really take a grad party from “meh” to “wow!” easily. For the cake toppers you can even put the graduate’s future school name on there instead of the graduating year. Invitations, 2011 Cupcake Toppers, Table Setting, Cake Scrolls, Cupcakes

Good luck and congratulations 2011 graduates!

Cake pops are the trendiest edibles right now, and there’s no need for plates or forks! We really love this honey-themed table setting by Pottery Barn. It’s a more “adult” approach to the brunch idea without seeming stiff or boring.
